These wonderful drinks will tantalize your taste buds and entice your senses. A well kept recipe box allows me to bring these from my home to yours. I use these on special occasions and they have been a wonderful hit countless times. Celebrate, Love and Enjoy!


















Love Potion #9
One night I prepared this punch for a party but told no one what was in it. By the end of the evening, one normally reserved and long-married couple was kissing passionately in a corner. A friend called me the next day and said she'd been "all over" her boyfriend on the way home; she asked what I'd put in the punch.

This recipes calls for herbal tinctures that you will find at a health food store. A tip: You will get more juice out of your oranges if you dip them in hot water before squeezing them. Serves about 20.

2 bottles of white rum
2/3 liter of dry white wine
1 cup Triple Sec
juice of 10 oranges
juice of 6 lemons
20-ounce can of pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup of sugar
2 vanilla beans, split
2 nutmegs, ground
2-ounces of muira puama tincture, preferably in a base of vegetable glycerin and alcohol
1-2 ounces of damiana tincture
2 whole oranges studded with cloves
a handful of fresh or dried rose petals


Place the alcohol, juices, pineapple, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, muira puama, and damiana in a large punch bowl and stir well until sugar is dissolved.
(Never make your aphrodisiac preparations in metal pots or bowls; the minerals that leach from them may react with the plant's active ingredient.)
Carefully float the clove-studded oranges in the punch, and immediately before serving sprinkle with rose petals.

Love Potions

Strawberries & Champagne
What better way to romance your significant other than with a sensual dessert? Full of sweet, sexy ingredients and perfect for summer, this spell will start off the evening right!

2 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
4 Tbsp. Light flavored honey
Fresh mint
Rose petals
1 qt. small strawberries, washed and hulled
Chilled Champagne, sparkling white wine, or sparkling white grape juice

Heat the lime juice and honey until honey melts. Add two large sprigs of mint and about 10 or 15 rose petals (works best if mint & petals are tied in cheesecloth). Remove from heat and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the mint and petals. Put strawberries in a bowl, add the sauce, toss gently, refrigerate at least 20 minutes. Divide the berries among six dessert dishes. Pour on champagne and add a mint garnish. Sprinkle with rose petals.

WARNING!! This spell will NOT cause someone to fall in love with you. It should only be used on the willing, and will simply serve to heighten the mood of an existing affair!!


Damiana Cordial


1 oz. dried damiana leaves
1 pint vodka
1 1/2 cups spring water
1/2 to 1 cup honey

Infuse the damiana in the vodka for 5 days. Strain through coffee filter, set aside vodka tincture and soak leaves in water another 5 days. Strain as before and discard leaves. Heat the water infusion just enough to dissolve the honey, adding the amount of honey according to how sweet you
want the cordial to be. Cool, then combine with vodka. Bottle. A harmless sediment may appear on the bottom of the bottle. The cordial will keep for a few months.
Drink one or two cordial glasses before retiring; after about five days you will experience results. Highly recommended.

Yield: about 31/2 cups

Flibuster Orgasmic


2 bottles of white rum (750ml each)
2/3 liter (or 1 fifth) dry white wine
1 cup triple sec
juice of 10 oranges
juice of 6 lemons
20-oz. can of pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup sugar
2 vanilla beans, split
2 nutmegs, ground
2 oz. muira puama tincture, preferably in a vegetable glycerin and alcohol base
1-2 oz. damiana tincture
2 whole oranges studded with cloves
a handful of fresh or dried rose petals

Place all but last 2 ingredients in a large punch bowl and stir well until sugar is dissolved. Carefully float clove-studded oranges in the punch. Sprinkle with rose petals immediately before serving.

Notes: The tinctures may be found in health food stores. The oranges yield more juice if you first dip
them in hot water.


CUPID


3 ounces sherry
1 egg
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
Pinch cayenne pepper
3 or 4 ice cubes


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Note: If there is a problem with eggs in your region, do not prepare this recipe.

Serves 1.

FALLEN ANGEL


3 ounces gin
4 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
2 dashes green crme de menthe
Dash Angostura bitters
Maraschino cherry

Combine all ingredients except the cherry with ice cubes in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass and decorate with cherry.

Serves 1.




MAIDEN'S BLUSH NO.II


1 1/2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce Pernod
1 teaspoon grenadine
3 or 4 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Serves 1.




BETWEEN THE SHEETS


1 ounce brandy
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce light rum
1/2 ounce lemon juice (optional)
3 or 4 ice cubes

Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Serves 1.




BRAZEN HUSSY




1 ounce vodka
1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
1/2 ounce lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Serves 1.




LOVE


2 ounces sloe gin
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon raspberry juice
1 egg white
3 or 4 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Serves 1



CRIMSON ROYALE


A lovely champagne cocktail.


12 tablespoons frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, thawed
6 teaspoons cranberry liqueur
6 teaspoons orange liqueur
1 bottle champagne or other sparkling wine


12 whole fresh cranberries
6 orange slices, folded in half
6 bamboo skewers


Measure 2 tablespoons cranberry concentrate, 1 teaspoon cranberry liqueur and 1 teaspoon orange liqueur into each of 6 champagne flutes. Top with champagne.

Thread 1 cranberry, 1 orange slice and then another cranberry onto each skewer. Place skewers atop glasses.

6 Servings




DANCE WITH A DREAM


2 ounces brandy
1/2 ounce Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 teaspoon anisette

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Serves 1.





GRAND PASSION


2 ounces gin
1 ounce passion fruit nectar
Dash Angostura bitters
3 or 4 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Serves 1.

SEX ON THE BEACH


1 ounce vodka
1 ounce peach schnapps
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces cranberry juice

Pour all of the ingredients into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well.

Serves 1.
